Weaponized Titallation

Is it just me me, or do you, too, sense an ulterior motive in all this sexual inappropriate behavior in the news recently?  On the surface, it seems as if the entire female sex has suddenly gotten the courage to rise up and fight back against toxic masculinity by exposing (pun intended) all this gropin' goin' on.  How modern.  How egalitarian.  Good girls, innocent and pure, against the perverted will of horny old men.  How genuinely enlightened.

I call BS, notwithstanding that most of the perps, er, alleged perps, are mostly left wing types, whose moral code can be summed up as "Do as you will."  The left, unlike the right, doesn't typically eat its own.  So what can explain all these democrats and progressives getting hit with sexual misconduct charges all at once?  Some say it's a prelude to getting Judge Moore, and then President Trump.  I'm not sure how the left can smear Trump with that; he's already passed that trial by fire.

Some may call me a misogynist for this, but I think most - if not all - of these women's claims are made out of expectations of money or notoriety, or both. Or maybe by the fact that they are, at heart, misandrists themselves.  But the truth is this.  Women, by their nature, gravitate to powerful men.  Women, by their nature, seek to be attractive to those powerful men.  Men, by nature, are hardwired to pursue and capture.  So when men and women are cast together in a social or professional setting, what could possibly go wrong?  Titillation in all its forms is noticed by men, and those men will act on it.

Does that offend you?  Tough.  Blame God.

So -  you want some more of this?
Females have always had this power to make or destroy men.  That's God's attempt at a balance of power.  So be it.  But since the so-called feminist movement, that titillation has been weaponized.  Honey pot stings are a daily trip wire for any man who is near any woman.  Want to destroy a career?  Eliminate a competitor?  Smear an opponent?  Here's the tired and true way to do it.  Bring in a titillating female, and let nature take its course.

Weaponizing titillation.  Men don't have a chance.

And it's not even a fair fight.

The Demise of Consequence

One of the most disturbing societal trends noted of late is the absolute demise of consequence.  Not merely the limiting of consequence, but the utter and complete lack of consequence.  It's almost as if Aleister Crowley's famous dictum of "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law" has become the absolute law of the land. The desires of individual will supersede any moral constraints put upon it, especially by any deity, we are told.  Morality has gone out of fashion.  How quaint.

Deserter at large
Take for instance the recent courts martial of one Bowe Bergdahl, the US Army Sergent who deserted his post in Afghanistan in 2009.  He mailed his personal belongings back to his parents, told them he was ashamed to be an American, and then walked off his post to join the Taliban.  A search and rescue unit was sent out to find and return him, and they met with hostile enemy fire and suffered casualties.  This wasn't "Saving Private Ryan."  This was a mission to take custody of a traitor.  We're told Bergdahl was "captured" by the Taliban and tortured.  But for five years gave up valuable information to the enemy about US operations in country. He was charged with - and later pleaded guilty to - “desertion and misbehavior before the enemy.”  The judge, a female officer it should be noted, gave "considerable weight" to Bergdahl's supposed treatment at the hands of his presumed captors.  Further, his attorneys argued that Bergdahl was suffering from certain personality disorders, and suffered from stress.  He could have received a life prison sentence. Instead, he received no prison time, a reduction in rank, a fine and a dishonorable discharge.  It was a slap on the wrist for a traitor Muslim sympathizer; a slap in the face to America.  For the treasonous acts of desertion and giving aid and comfort to the enemy, Bergdahl suffered no consequence for his actions. It's been said that case law makes for bad law, and this judge's decision leaves emasculated any notion of consequence to treason.

Martin Luther by Cranach-restoration.tif
Martin Luther
Five hundred years after Martin Luther first nailed his 95 Theses on the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church in Germany, anonymous evangelical Anglicans this week posted a 95 Theses-style complaint on the doors of five British cathedrals, essentially demanding that the Church of England follow the Bible on LGBT issues.  The established reform churches - Episcopal, Anglican and others - in the US and UK have strayed for from Biblical teachings as they have caved into the pressure put upon them for acceptance by the homosexual and confused sexuality crowd.  Infamous in his decree some years ago, Episcopalian Bishop Gene Robinson - a homosexual himself - led that church away from convention into a confused politically correct policy of homosexual inclusion.  Memberships in those churches dropped precariously.  But no matter God's word, homosexuality must be embraced, even worshiped, on the altar of man's law.  So consequence be damned: morality is a social construct; it's meaning is fluid.  There is no higher authority than that of the will.  Do what thy wilt.  There is no consequence for defying moral law.  Right.

Still not convinced?

How about the revelations of the astounding, mind boggling activities in perversion, depravity and selfishness exhibited by the elites, our betters?  Misogyny, misandry and pedophilia is everywhere we look in the high towers.  Hollywood has always been known for is promiscuity, as the powerful take advantage of the powerless, and the powerless prostitute themselves to the powerful.  But when it's done in the dark of deceit, no one notices.  Or cares.  But should it come to light, as it now has, the hew and cry is heard throughout the land.  A show is canceled.  A board membership is rescinded.  An apology is made. But what of consequence?  Is there to be any?

And what of the corruption of our political leaders?  The examples are numerous.  An ex-senator goes to prison for sexting a 15-year old girl.  Ex-presidents frolic in a Caribbean island with underage boys and girls, out of sight and away from the law.  The deceit and corruption of an ex-Secretary of State and former First Lady is so vast, well, she's just too big to fail.  She'll retain her millions of dollars unlawfully gained and will face no consequence at all for her decades of deceit and even murder.

Image result for personal responsibility and consequence of actionThere are many, many more examples of corruption without consequence.  Just read the news.  The trickle down is obvious.  Society defines deviancy down ever more every day.  James Madison said that only a just and moral society can remain a republic.  Ben Franklin noted that a man's moral core was indeed required to permit him to govern himself.  And John Dewey reminds us that the lack of personal responsibility leads to tyranny.    Perhaps the tide has begun to turn, back to acceptance of personal responsibility and of consequence of actions.

We can only pray.

The Crime of Fame

Why is that some folks will do anything for fame - if for only the proverbial fifteen minutes?  Recently, some poor misguided souls have taken their lives, publicly and graphically, on Facebook and other social media sites.  One, a 49-year-old man, and another, a 12-year old girl, died by their own hands on live streaming video.  One by a gunshot to the head, and one by hanging, respectively.  What can be said of a society that craves this kind of morbidity? And what can be said about someone who wishes to die - right in your face?  What kind of last word is that?

Thankfully, those videos have since been taken down, although the girl's video stayed up nearly two weeks.

Is the need for fame - or perhaps just fleeting recognition - so strong that some require that you - and we - watch them die?  Perverse.

But even more perverse is the serial killer.  He kills for his own edification in living, not the victims' in death.  And while his motivations may be varied and many, the end result is that someone is dead, and lives are shattered. This month a killing spree has occurred in a quiet oak-canopied residential neighborhood in Tampa, Florida.  Three people have been shot and killed within a week, and law enforcement, while struggling for clues, have acknowledge that the victims knew each other, and the killings are surely related.  Meanwhile, the fear is palatable in Seminole Heights, as residences are vigilant and wary.  Many think the two 20s-somethng men and the 30s-something woman were killed as a result of a personal relationship somehow gone bad.  Others think there was only one target, and the other two were killed as a way to avert suspicion.  Still others think it is all random, and the killer seeks what he perceives to be fame and glory.  We will find out eventually.

Image result for death in public
The dead tell no tales
But perhaps we should take a look in the mirror as a society.  What is it about this cult of death that so fascinates?  I'm the last one to blame society for a single individual's madness, but perhaps the graphic violence in movies, in video games, and in the news related to Muslim jihad have rendered our sensibilities a little hardened.  And that has defined deviancy down. Something seems to be going on that desensitizes us to graphic murder.  For instance, some unknown number of shooters just killed 50 concert-goers and wounded five hundred more in Las Vegas earlier this month.   Five hundred fifty people left with shattered lives, and all within ten minutes.  Unfathomable.

At the end of the day, we have people killing others - or themselves - solely for notoriety, either instantly or posthumously.  No matter.

That's the evil nature of the crime of fame.

All Quiet on the Western Front

It sure is quiet out there.  Nothing to be heard.  Crickets.  The silence is deafening.  What should be the most important story in media is instead left simmering on the back burner, while nonsense like Harvey Weinberg's peccadilloes dominate the front page.  That's a story?  Yeah, for maybe a day.  Let me ask you, my great American friends, do you give a tinker's damn about Hollywood's internal incestuousness?

Neither do I.

Or how about this non-story about one democrat Rep. Frederica - she of the sequined cowboy hat - Wilson's tête-à-tête with President Trump?  Is that a worthy story?  NopeThat's a nothing burger, too.   Just another crazed democrat with a penchant for self promotion at The Donald's expense.  Add her to the rantings of Pelosi and Waters, all elderly ladies on the political wane.

Carnage
What should be on the news, every minute of every day, is the investigation and solving of the worst mass shooting in American history.  The fact that it's been shoved into the "nothing to see here, move on" category tells me it's bigger than big.  The media's silence tells me that this story is probably bigger than the Kennedy assassination.  There are surely some similarities.  Multiple shooters, patsy setup, disappearing witnesses, dying witnesses, choppy timeline, possible mob and CIA involvement, even a grassy noll. (Well, metaphorically speaking: I refer to the shots coming from behind the stage).

Yet have we heard even a peep about this event in the last few weeks?  Nope.  Nada.  Mandalay Bay is the twenty-first century's Dallas Book Repository.  All the fire came from there, they tell us.  Right.  We'll have to await the Warren Commission's findings, we will surely be told.  In fifty years.

Meanwhile the media distraction is in full swing.  Sex, perversion and petty drama take front page above-the-fold.  To satiate the masses.  What's the issue, we're asked?  Bump stocks.  Yep, that must be the problem.  All the while the media and their government overlords cover up the truth of Muslim jihad and support from government sponsored gun running.  Fast and Furious in orders of magnitude.

Meanwhile, it's all quiet on the western front.

Simulation? Not Buying It.

Related image
Synaspsial Reality?
Further to certain comments made on Facebook and elsewhere about the universe being a simulation, let me add my take on that.  Firstly, that notion ain’t new; Hinduism identified the world as being Shiva’s dream eons ago.  And Buddhism considers reality merely an outpouring of the unified Universal mind.  Carl Jung amplified that idea as well. And recently we discover that all stories – in every book, myth or movie ever conceived – contain one or more variations of only six plots.  By definition, that would have to include the whole of human experience, wouldn’t it?

So in stories from the Bible to Shakespeare to Spielberg, we only get six plots?  Is the human mind really that limited?  Wouldn’t a simulation developer give us at least a few more variations so we could broaden our view, our very concept, of the universe?

Yeah, I think so, too.

So while we humans are relatively new at creating reality with only 1s and 0s, some other vaguely defined omnipotent being has done a marvelous job of creating an expanding, mind-bending universe, transcending our limited dimensional view of it.   Perhaps only when we can intellectually deconstruct and understand the vibrant, living soup in which we live, we can fully appreciate the originator of the "simulation."

Sim?  Not buying it.

Inglorious Ingrate

What can you call a man who, with some but not a great deal of athletic ability, is able to overcome all the obstacles and failings that mortal men encounter, and become a football star?  A hero?  A man among men? A role model?  Well, if you're talking about Colin Kaepernick, the answer is inglorious ingrate.

Image result for in kaepernick
Colin Kaepernick, persona non grata
Why?  Abandoned - in the strictest sense of the word - by his biological parents when he was an infant, Colin was adopted by an white, middle class family who made it possible for him to participate in the grand American Dream, which he most probably would not have enjoyed otherwise.  As a black man in a white middle class family, Colin went through school, found his athletic ability, and parlayed that into an eventual professional football career.  With that came wealth, fame and prestige.  Wow!  What a life.  What opportunity was afforded him.  What grace of providence was shown upon him.

But that wouldn't do for our budding social justice warrior.  As his hate for white America grew, he converted to Islam over a year ago.  And as his disdain manifested itself more and more, his athletic prowess faded proportionately.  And so did his playing time on the field.  From the bench, Kaepernick vented his displeasure at America, siding with Black Lives Matter, and anti-police sentiment.  He decided to become a free agent.  He played less and less.  Nobody wanted to play with him.  Or hire him.  Angry black men are no fun to be around.  Then he took the infamous knee during the national anthem.  How bold.  How brave.  How insightful to disrespect the country, the fans, the league and the very game that gave him fame, wealth and prestige.

And so the cancer spread.  Other players - mostly black - emulated the "protest."  Then coaches and owners.  The talking heads on ESPN thought it was marvelous.

But then came the backlash.  Fans booed.  ESPN subscriptions dived.  Fans turned off the set, or changed channels when NFL games came on.  Ratings plunged.  Even the President weighed in.  At this writing sentiment seems to have swung in the opposite direction. The end result is an entire once popular industry is in decline.

The talking heads label him the Man Who Started a Movement.  I doubt that.  This is a parable like some  ancient Greek myth.  The hero rises from obscurity to wealth and power, only to bite the hand that feeds, and is destroyed by his own hubris.  With Kaepernick however - never the sharpest knife in the drawer - the irony is lost on him.

He's far from a man who started a movement.  He's merely an inglorious ingrate.

Lee Harvey Rerun

Paddock's two! separate fire platforms
The shooting has stopped.  Prayers are ongoing.  Hospitals are working frantically on the wounded, as gunshot wounds are particularly nasty. The shock and disbelief has yet to wear off. And before the smoke has cleared, the far left has already established their narrative even as the investigations begin.  Despite overwhelming developing information to the contrary, we're told by the MSM that the shooter is a lone wolf radical white man, and a NRA and Trump adherent.  But he wasn't any of that.

Like the infamous declarations arising immediately after JFK's murder fifty some odd years ago, the establishment immediately determined that there was only one shooter.   Lee Harvey Oswald, meet Stephen Craig Paddock.  And today they are trying to push the same lie in this incident.   The lone gunman.  But witnesses' video clearly shows automatic heavy weapon fire from other floors of the Mandalay Bay hotel, along with Paddock's fire from the 32nd floor.

Image result for mandalay bay shooter locations
Location of other fire apart from Paddock's
Quick to deny any Islamic terrorist element, the MSM ignores the fact that through Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’s official Amaq news channel, the group said the suspected gunman, Stephen Paddock, 64, converted to Islam a few months ago.  ISIL referred to Paddock by the nom de guerre Abu Abd al-Barr al-Amriki and said he answered a call to arms by its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. It was Baghdadi who issued a call for a terror strike in Las Vegas back in May of this year.  ISIL doesn't normally claim responsibility for attacks in which they aren't actually involved.  No matter.  No connection here, is there?

Insiders have also contradicted the MSM narrative that Paddock shot himself, when in fact he was killed in a shootout as responders breached his hotel room, according to those who were there.

We will have to wait for a comprehensive investigation to determine all the facts.  But what is telling is when the MSM can immediately - and without confirmation and verification - affirm that Paddock was a lone wolf white domestic terrorist. That's going to be the established narrative.  Count on it.

Like Oswald, fifty-three years ago, Paddock is and will be a patsy.  But unlike Oswald, Paddock actually did have trigger time and he did kill people.

But act alone he did not.

Conservatism And The GOP

What if conservatives retake the Republican Party?   What if nationalism - even as defined by the MSM - pushes the entrenched globalist eunuchs out of the party, and actually succeed in making America great again?  What if the tenets espoused by the Tea Party - smaller government, more self reliance, fewer taxes and far lower government debt - were actually embraced and promoted by the GOP party elders?  And what if voters in the midterm elections coming up next year said "Hell, yeah!" to all or some of these philosophical betterments and made them happen?  What a wonderful world it would be.

A Republic for Republicans | the last best hope
Get mad, get mean, get great!
But the road to that happy place is beset on all sides by ill-wishers in both parties and the media, along with NGOs and other heavily funded resources from outside our borders.  That means George Soros, as well as others.  And the game is already afoot:  History is being erased.  Speech is being censored.  Education has become propaganda.  Biology is being redefined as merely a personal preference.  Ethnic cleansing is alive and well as the war against the white race intensifies.  The radical left, emboldened by sixty years of its applied cultural erosion, is now engaged in all out warfare against the Constitution.

And it all came to a head when the American electorate, having another temper tantrum as Peter Jennings once famously observed, actually chose a political outsider as their duly elected president and commander in chief.  How dare they give a resounding vote of no confidence to the entrenched elitists in power in Washington DC?  It simply isn't done!

So in November of last year, the campaign began in earnest to destroy not only President Donald Trump, but all who may have voted for him.  Working class white males, discarded as being "deplorable" by Mz Clinton and the Democrats, exacted a little revenge in November.  Clinton lost.  Trump won.

Now we find ourselves in philosophical warfare between two basic ideologies.  The first is the Kenyan's globalist view that America is only one of many nations, and should be taken down a notch or two.  The second is President Trump's contention that America is the world's shining city on the hill, a beacon of freedom and opportunity for all who wish to come here and become Americans.

The power elite and the MSM is heavily invested in the former.  But the American voter chose the latter.  The mid-terms will flesh out the two.  RINOs will be primaried.  Already in Arizona incumbent Jeff Flake is trailing badly  to newcomer Dr. Kelli Ward, due to his anti-Trump and pro-globalist stance.  And remarks.  I doubt that Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell will retain their leadership positions, as the republican voters in fly-over country have had enough betrayal.  They - the working men and women largely ignored by the political class - handed both houses of congress and the Oval Office to Republicans because they wanted no more of the disastrous policies that the Kenyan forced upon them.

But the squishy Republican leadership, by standing in the way of enacting Trump's agenda, has effectively handed over that once-in-a-generation full Republican legislative and executive control to others, and in doing so has betrayed the electorate.  But the American voter wants a new boss, a new direction, and a new competitiveness in this 21st century. If the political class of donor sponsored Republicans want to keep their jobs, they better embrace some platform planks upon which they campaigned, and for which Americans voted.

They damn sure better, or there will be hell to pay.  You can take that to the bank.

What Can You Say?

It's refreshing to learn that the technology giants are rushing to save free speech, by censoring what they euphemistically refer to as hate speech.  Yep, Google, Facebook, Twitter, several hosting services, ESPN and others have endeavored to save us from speech - both conservative and from-the-right -  that may offend us.  Whew.  As fractionalized as the United States has become under the clinched fist of the Great One, the Kenyan, it's good to know that some of these benighted tech CEOs are there to protect us.

Facebook has cancelled accounts of conservative groups, citing violations of terms of service as their justification. Yeah, like expressing political opinions, which is emphatically protected by the first amendment.  No matter, that.  Anything not in keeping with Facebook's echo chamber, by their definition, is hate speech, and therefore must be stifled.  And they do.   Further, Facebook caved in to Pakistan's government to censor and delete any criticism of Islam.
Image result for tech giant censorshipGoogle is worse, in that it's essentially the search engine of default in most browsers.  Results of queries are screened for conservative content, and then subsequently filtered in favor of liberal, left wing results. Go ahead, search a controversial topic - "Clinton's crimes" could be an interesting example - and run the same search in Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, or others, and note the difference in what is returned as a match.  Are the results  history, propaganda or political commentary?  It's subtle, but it's there.

One could argue that these are private corporations, and they can set policy as they please.  Fine, I agree.  But the government has retained the right to bust up monopolies, and has done so in the past.  As cultural realities in the 21st century require a reliance on the internet, both for input and output, it's of societal concern to Americans that the medium for political free speech be - as the first amendment guarantees - uncensored.  Even, or especially, if that speech may be repugnant to some.

If someone is prejudiced against certain religious groups, and wished to express that position, such speech should be uncensored.  That goes for opinions that are anti-Muslim, as well as anti-Jew  or anti-Christian, for instance.  Or those opinions that may be anti-black, as well as those who may be anti-white.  Or any other contentious opinion.  That's free speech.  Bigotry is a human attribute, after all.  We're tribal.  Non sunt mei: They are not me.  So what?  It's a good thing that we're different.  We can agree to disagree on whatever topic without either government or corporate censorship.

Those easily offended among us would do well to remember the famous quote: "I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

That's the American way.

Boomerang: Unintended Consequence

Boomerang.  Backlash.  Those are words that refer to unintended consequence.  After decades of being the whipping boy for every cultural fault, shortcoming or slight - whether real or imagined - is it any wonder that white people, especially males, are pushed to the point of pushback?  I don't think so either.  As I've noted on these pages recently, the war against white men began with the misguided feminist movement some sixty years ago.  And, as I've noted, that war was won:  men were ostracized and literally criminalized.  In fact, those feminist radicals' tactics worked so well, that every other aggrieved disenfranchised group has adopted them.  We're victims of you, the great white male, they claimed.  Right.

Image result for Boomerang: Unintended Consequence
Be careful what you throw . . .
So after decades of enduring this war, the white male, genteel to the core, has heretofore smiled and just let it all go.  But in recent years fuel has been added to the fire, and under the divisive Kenyan's reign, the hate of white males has been ramped up by orders of magnitude.  Hate has now become its own ideology.  Hatred not from white males, but of white males.  No problem.  That's permissible.  It's not discrimination or hate speech if vitriol is directed toward white males.  But let a white man express his position on blacks, Hispanics, Muslims or women, and he's excoriated.

Is it any wonder that white people, especially males, are pushed to the point of pushback?

Enter the interesting case of the website Daily Stormer. Because its editor is a member of what the media refers to as white supremacist, and because of the exercise of his right of free political speech, GoDaddy decided to drop him from its hosting service.  The website's content didn't seem to bother GoDaddy for the years the site has been up, but suddenly it's hate speech.  Which, as many constitutional scholars have pointed out, the suppression of which is actually censorship.  If there is one common attribute of those of the alt-right, another label that the MSM has applied to Daily Stormer, it may be irreverence.  The cite used dark humor to mock feminism, Jewishness, liberals, entrenched government, and every other established icon.  It was satirical if nothing else. Nonetheless, the site was shut down.  No opposition voices may be heard in our free and tolerant society.  Meanwhile, Black Lives Matter, Planned Parenthood, and every other hate group on the far left have had no threats against their respective websites or host providers.

As I write this, the news in the background revealed that several Confederate statutes in several states - including my home state of Florida - have either been torn down and/or vandalized.  Not solely because they were Confederate, but because they were of white guys.  Think that's a stretch?  Consider this:  Al Sharpton on The Charlie Rose Show just called for the removal of the Jefferson Monument in Washington, D.C.  He wasn't kidding.  Jefferson owned slaves, therefore was racist, he explained.

So there it is.  What started as a hissy fit by unattractive females against the men who wouldn't notice them has now become an ideology within Black Lives Matter and others that are being fueled by the far-left MSM and funded by its sponsor, George Soros.

Is it any wonder that white people, especially males, are pushed to the point of pushback?
