I Will Not Comply

Well, it's now official.  It's apparent that the wokey-wokes are far too stupid to be allowed to live.  And I for one have had enough of their virtue signally idiocy.  Today, for example, in an apparent attempt to erase all history and placate the perpetually angry and stupid, the state of Rhode Island will officially change its name.  To wit:

The “official” name of the state is “The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.” But to those choosing to be ignorant — or those who really are — “plantations” means “a usually large farm or estate, especially in a tropical or semitropical country, on which cotton, tobacco, coffee, sugar cane, or the like is cultivated, usually by resident laborers.”

But no.  In the parlance of the 18th century, “plantations” simply referred to a new colony.  But no matter, the word itself has become offensive to some.  And plantations is not the first word to fatally fall victim to the politically correct and perpetually ignorant language censors.  Take one of my favs, niggardly.  The word's etymology is Middle English, derived from the Norse, and simply means miserly or stingy.  But it is its phonetic similarity to "nigger" that triggers the ignorant oh-so-wokesters.  Yet that word is derived from the Spanish "negro," and has no etymological relationship to "niggardly" whatsoever.   There are many more examples of this self-imposed censorship, and I'm sure all of us can think of words that we hesitate to use, simply because the Marxists in black face may find offense.

But facts and common sense have no place to today's politically correct language censor police.  And the end result will be thousands of perfectly good and useful words will be verboten because some over educated, low intelligence snowflakes perceives a personal "offense."

And we're seeing it now:  major brands that are decades old are changing their names, or their logos or their mascots.  Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben's, Land O' Lakes, come immediately to mind.

How long can this go on?  In the last few months we've seen organized and violent attacks on our history, our political rights (but only if you're right of center, of course), and our English language.  To what end?  Will the perpetually offended be placated at last?  Of course not, they'll be more emboldened, even more aggressive.

What to do?

First, unplug from the dominate Marxist democrat media complex.  You simply do not need Facebook, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS or especially PBS.  There are dozens of online news services that scan news sources all over the world and present straight up, unfiltered real news.

Second, do not succumb to every stupid edict coming from the petty tyrants who think they can control your every thought and act.  Here in Hillsborough County Florida, for example, an edict was declared requiring mask wearing in all indoor businesses throughout the entire county.  It's a second degree misdemeanor: 60 days in jail and/or a $500 fine for not wearing a mask.  Free will?  Free Choice?  Freedom of association?  Not in Hillsborough County.  So simply ignore it.  Shop in an adjacent county.  There's less of a threat from bat flu than there is from the common cold, and that's been studied and documented endlessly.  But we destroyed a vibrant economy and millions of peoples' lives and businesses to worship at the feet of the fascists who fostered this hoax upon us, and who continue to do so today.

Third, it's time we stopped enabling these dictatorial stupid and ignorant petty tyrants with their petty ordinances that they force upon us.  What the hell:  they've rid us of our police, so who's going to enforce failure to wear an idiotic mask?  An army of Karens?

And lastly, stand up.  Be American.  Simply say, "I will not comply."  And mean it.
